    Why mess with perfection

    I like the regular Paloma bra. This one is fine, but the mesh does not actually help me stay cool.

    Also, I am a size S (6, 36B) in most tops but a size M in this bra.

    Good Twist on a Basic

    This is a great twist on a basic. It's comfortable, and I was able to justify buying it because the mesh details elevate it above the other black sports bras I already had.

    I didn't choose this for

    I didn't choose this for the panel. I liked the color. The bra is very comfortable and I like that my breasts don't slip out the sides while I am working out or doing Pilates or yoga. This is often a problem. However the band does roll up on me, both when sitting, or moving. I have had this problem with other longer sports bras. I hoped this special band would prevent it. I am short waisted due to scoliosis. That could be the issue.

    Not a real Paloma

    It's a misnomer to call this a Paloma and I wish it had been named something else. The mesh is cute and it fits true to size, but it is more compressive than the regular Palomas and the chest band has almost no give, so it's much more difficult to put on and take off. The cup pads were also way too small (why are they long ovals??) relative to the cups so they left a strange outline. I ended up returning it. This could be good if you're looking for a medium to high impact Paloma cousin and don't mind the extra effort to get in and out of it or the cup padding situation.
