This is my first purchase from Girlfriend Collective. I’ve bought other skorts before but the shorts are never tight enough so they didn’t stay in place. This pair isn’t perfect but much better than others. I wish it was a little longer (I’m only 5”2) but otherwise I like it!

I’m soooo disappointed by this purchase. I love Girlfriend and the items I’ve purchased in the past have been such high quality. I had my eye on this skirt for a long time and finally decided to buy it, but when I received it I noticed this horrible chemical smell. I’ve had this happen before with black clothes so I scoured the internet for solutions, washed it 3 times, soaked it in water and vinegar and left it out in the sun for days… nothing. Still stinky! I should’ve just returned it when I had the chance but I wanted to make it work so badly. I’m bummed because I honestly don’t think I can wear it, the smell is so strong to the point where it’s headache inducing. Really disappointing after an expensive purchase.

I originally gave this skirt a 2 star review because, while cute, it came with a stench so horrid that I couldn’t get out no matter what I tried. The support team reached out and offered to send me another one. I wasn’t expecting that at all! The second skirt was sent out quickly and without issue. I love the skirt and the quality, but am especially glad the company cared enough to reach out. 5/5 I definitely see myself wearing the skirt a lot :)

Love that this is a plain skort with no slits or visible branding on the panel of the skirt. They wash and dry well with no wrinkles so are good for travelling.

Size wise, I am an AU size 10 or a medium typically. I bought a large or an AU 12 because I am right on the cusp of the medium and large size measurements, but I probably should have bought a medium because it does feel a tiny bit loose around the waist and thighs and will probably loosen up with time and washing too.
